Subtitled Les Deux Amis in the French market, after a work by La Fontaine. From vines originally belonging to the previous chateau on this territory. Sandier soils here. This wine is made half in foudre and half concrete tank. More ruby to the colour, medium depth. A little reductive. However absolutely pure in the mouth and easy of access, very much what one expects of a good Beaujolais designed for drinking. A fine long finish. 13% alcohol. Drink from 2024-2028. Tasted Apr 2024.
