The 2015 wines from Domaine Michelot were nothing short of a revelation, while the 2016s were uncommonly good; however, the 2017s have taken it a step further, showcasing even greater quality. The wines are crafted unfined and unfiltered, with new oak usage carefully dialed down, allowing the terroir to shine through with clarity and precision. This results in fantastic examples of a “fresh is best” philosophy, characterised by an extremely fine, pure, and mineral-driven style that speaks to the essence of Meursault.
