According to esteemed wine critic Neal Martin, Domaine Chevillon has rightfully earned its place as “the leading grower in Nuits-Saint-Georges with a raft of superlative wine.” This assessment couldn’t be more accurate. Run by brothers Denis and Bertrand Chevillon, the domaine has built a reputation for wines that stand shoulder to shoulder with the finest in Burgundy, demonstrating an enviable depth of quality across their range. Known for their lively character and exceptional integrity, Chevillon’s wines reflect the full diversity of Nuits-Saint-Georges, with Premier Crus from both the north and south sides of the appellation showing superbly, each revealing distinct facets of terroir. Even the Bourgogne Rouge and village Nuits bottlings shine with a quality rarely found at these levels, reflecting the Chevillons’ meticulous craftsmanship.
One of the unique pleasures of this domaine is its occasional release of older vintages from their impeccable cellars, a true treat for longtime collectors and new enthusiasts alike.
