Tasting Notes
Wine Advocate 93
The 2024 La Pilosa, produced with Garnacha Peluda from a vineyard from 1984 at 550 meters in altitude, has a slightly more rustic profile, which is what the biotype of the grape tends to deliver, let’s say somewhere between a Garnacha and a Cariñena, a little earthy and with marked tannins. It fermented in concrete with part of full clusters and matured in Austrian oak foudres for 12 months. It comes in at 14% alcohol, keeping good freshness with a pH of 3.4. 11,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2025.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2030
