En Primeur wines will be shipped and imported in due course and upon arrival in the UK can either be stored in your Brunswick reserves, delivered to the bonded warehouse of your choosing or delivered directly to you. Should you decide to take delivery of En Primeur wines to a UK address, UK Duty and VAT at the current rates will become payable.

En Primeur wines are maturing in barrel at the producer, and will be available in due course. Our Logistics team will get in touch as soon as the wines become physical with us and will arrange to deliver, store or transfer the wines as per your instructions.

Vinous 92

The 2022 Mauvesin Barton was picked 13 September to 15 October and aged in one-third new oak. It is initially quite backward on the nose and demands encouragement, revealing blackberry, chimney soot and tobacco scents with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, the cedar-infused black fruit tinged with white pepper and pencil shaving. Composed, nothing over-ambitious, yet long and tender on the finish. It is one of the best vintages that I have tasted from this estate that is owned by the Barton-Sartorius family. Tasted twice with consistent notes. [Neal Martin, 16/05/2023]
