Producer Profile
Domaine Jean-Philippe Fichet
is a highly respected wine estate in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy,
France. It owns and cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards in several renowned
appellations within the Côte de Beaune, including Meursault,
Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet. The domain produces white wines,
primarily from Chardonnay grapes and red wines from Pinot Noir and Gamay
grapes.
Organic and biodynamic farming
methods are practised here: vineyards are cultivated without the use of
synthetic chemicals or pesticides, promoting biodiversity and environmental
sustainability.
The domain produces 140,000
bottles per year, so it’s one of the largest producers of wine in Burgundy.
