Tasting Notes
Burghound 89
A classic Chassagne nose features notes of petrol, rosemary oil, zest and an array of white orchard fruit. There is lovely density to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that display more power if slightly less refinement on the lingering and balanced finale. This is a quality Chassagne villages where a few years of cellaring should help to add depth.

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a clean and precise bouquet, quite Puligny in style. The palate is lively on the entry with touches of ginger complementing the orchard fruit, gaining weight towards its tender and persistent finish. Fine.
