Now is the perfect time to discover Cristian Boffa, the next big talent of Barolo.

Boffa’s wines come from one of the great communes beside the great epicentre of Barolo itself: La Morra. Here, in the ‘borgata’ of Santa Maria, young Cristian works his magic in a properly authentic ‘garagista’ setting. Here he fashions beautiful wines in a fragrant, haunting style, not unlike that of his friend/mentor Luigi Oddero.

We think he’s the next big thing in the region. The quality of his wines could easily justify asking prices two or three times the current level. Something magical is happening in this hidden hamlet beside iconic La Morra, so this is the perfect time to discover Cristian Boffa.
