EnquiryCask sample. Mid crimson. Ripe and dark fruited. First impression is almost overripe. On the palate, there’s some oak sweetness and a hint of coffee. Packed with fruit and flavour. Sui generis but lots of pleasure. Ripe but fresh. Sweet and chewy. (JH)
