Slightly riper and a bit more deeply pitched aromas are comprised by wisps of plum, pungent earth, spice and just enough wood to mention. The velvety, round and delicious larger-scaled flavors also conclude in a mildly rustic finish that exhibits a hint of acid-tinged tang.
Bottled. Solid Côte de Beaune wine with a long life ahead. Made for the long term rather than to charm. Very dry and savoury. Demands patience.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2038
