This domain was founded in 1926 after the marriage of Jean Confuron and Anne Marie Bouchard. It’s located in Premeaux near Nuits-St-Georges in the Côte de Nuits and today it is run by Louis. 
The domain owns 8 hectares mainly farmed with Pinot Noir on prestigious vineyards such as Clos de Vougeot and Romanée Saint Vivant. The winemaking approach at Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron emphasises a combination of tradition and modern techniques, and they’ve been using sustainable and organic techniques since 1989. Their white wines are composed of 100% of Aligoté.
Their Romanée-St-Vivant is considered the masterpiece of the domain, beloved by wine enthusiasts and critics. The starting prices for a recent vintage are around £530.
