EnquiryThe 2018 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru offers crunchy blackcurrant and raspberry fruit on the nose, crisp with a subtle pressed flower element. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins. Modest weight, a modicum of bitterness, though it just misses a little follow-through on the briny aftertaste. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting.
