Tasting Notes
Vinous 91
The 2017 Pommard Les Epenots 1er Cru has a slightly deeper colour than its sibling Premier Crus. It has a fragrant and a touch more floral bouquet compared directly with the Clos Micault, still very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, tender in style with beautifully judged acidity that makes this Pommard feel so natural and imbued with weightlessness. Nothing flashy here, just pure Pommard.
