Tasting Notes
Vinous 87
The 2015 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a showy, vanilla-y bouquet with overt scents of passion fruit, guava and orange blossom. There is something a little superficial here. The palate is rounded in the mouth, yielding a plump Corton-Charlemagne that feels very ripe, and then there is a jarring, bitter finish that feels ill-matched to the rest of the wine. Odd. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

Solid but not a step function better than their other wines really. Direct and pure.
