Tasting Notes

Deep red. Explosive, superripe aromas of red berries, truffle and smoked meat. Lush, fat and full-blown, with flavors of plum, truffle and game. Finishes firmly tannic and long. As fleshy as this is, it also has life in the middle palate.

Dull, bretty, furry nose. No lift or juiciness. Hot finish. Not very bordeaux – more reminiscent of some of the more ambitious Spanish reds at the moment. Painful to drink.
Anticipated maturity: 2010-2012

A closed but clean nose: raspberry, roses, cherry and ink. The palate is medium-bodied, good acidity with fine crisp tannins. Good definition and harmony, redcurrant, cherry and raspberry with a crisp finish. Good length. Very seductive and sensuous. Tasted October 2007.
