EnquiryVery good red-ruby color. Perfumed, expressive aromas of red cherry, rose petal and nutty oak; marginally less precise than La Tache. The sweetest and thickest of these ’98s, with impressive volume and the spherical shape characteristic of Romanee-Conti. Flavors are still quite unevolved, and the wine gives the impression of being in an awkward stage today.
