Deluxe Dinner Party: Deluxe Mixed Case

A red gift box containing: Louis Roederer, Collection 243 Brut, Champagne: Made in Louis Roederer's house style, Collection 243 is rich and well-structured, with honeyed notes, stone fruit and... apple blossom. It is lively and refreshing but with warming biscuit notes. This release racked up several 90+ critic scores, with Jancis Robinson MW stating, “This definitely deserves to be priced above regular non-vintage Champagne… Just hits the right note for a superior blend." Pair this with white fish, poultry, seafood, rice dishes or simply as an apéritif. Serving suggestion: The ideal temperature for a bottle of Champagne is between about 8-10°C. Put the bottle in an ice bucket half filled with water and ice, from 20 to 30 minutes before serving. 2x 2020 Louis Michel, Chablis Premier Cru, Montée de Tonnerre: This Chardonnay offers a perfect balance between mineral freshness and very ripe fruit, with a mineral aroma overlaid with nectar and crisp lemon. On the palate it’s warm, mouthwatering and saline, with a spicy cinnamon finish. Must be opened before tasting, to get the maximum flavour, don’t drink it straight from the fridge. Try with pesto, bruschetta, Mediterranean salads, shellfish, pan-fried scallops, or mild goat’s cheese. Serving suggestion: Open 1-2 hours before drinking. 2x 2016 Château Batailley 5eme Cru Classe, Pauillac: This is a soft Bordeaux with juicy fruit, it’s smooth and elegant with a touch of oak to give balance and good length. Located to the west of Mouton Rothschild, Batailley is a typical, Cabernet-dominant wine with a pronounced flavour of cassis. Lovely tobacco notes infuse the black fruit. A medium-bodied wine with smooth tannins. The bold Bordeaux flavours will go well with roast beef, lamb or duck. Serving suggestion: Open 1-2 hours before drinking. Klein Constantia, Vin De Constance, Constantia: This fresh and lively dessert wine from South Africa is bright gold in appearance. Rich aromas of red apple and toffee, followed by a delicate floral perfume. Full-bodied, with flavours of Seville marmalade, quince, candied ginger & stone fruit. A roasted walnut dryness complements the fruit flavours creating a drier style of Vin de Constance. A powerful dessert wine with a long zesty and complex finish. Serve chilled with desserts such as tarte tatin and crème brûlée, or cheeses such as Roquefort and Stilton.
